MY Table Tennis Club hosting the first Canada Cup Event |
My Table Tennis Club in Mississauga, Ontario will be the host for the first Canada Cup Event. A qualifying 3 star tournament that will lead to the Canada Cup Finals in January 8- 9, 2016. The Canada Cup Final will serve as a National Team Selection competition and as the Canadian Olympic Qualifier (place TBA).

Players who are on duty for the national team during a Canada Cup event or have club contracts in Europe in a national league team will earn:
- The same number of points as the winners of the Canada Cup events for qualification purposes if they fall into the senior category.
- The same number of points as the highest finishing junior if they fall in the junior/cadet category.

Jeremy Hazin (for CC#1) - World Cadet Challenge - junior
Jason Liu (for CC#1) - World Cadet Challenge - junior
Ivy Liao (for CC#1) - World Cadet Challenge - junior
Laura Lai (for CC#1) - World Cadet Challenge - junior
Mo Zhang (for CC#1) - Women’s World Cup - senior
Alayna Chan (club contract - senior
The four HP selection spots are separte - and are HP selection, or will go by ranking.
