Congratulations to our newest International Referees!
Staged in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro from Saturday 2nd to Tuesday 5th October 2010, the first ever International Referees Course to be staged in Latin America proved to be a great success.

Organised under the auspices of the ITTF Development Programme with the assistance locally of the Brazilian Table Tennis Confederation, a total of 15 students attended the course.

The course was under the direction of Michael Zwipp who will be the Referee at the 2012 London OIympic Games, Joe Fisher of Canada, and Albert Rooijmans, Chair of the ITTF Umpires and Referees Committee.

A detailed well organised course was administered.

Successful Candidates:

The successful candidates were Gabriel Levisman (Argentina), Delano Lai Fatt (Canada), Maria Ferreira (Brazil), Edwin Bautista (Colombia), Fernando Aguilar (Costa Rica), Silvia Garro (Costa Rica) and Joe Fisher (Canada).
